Texas is making the Abbott BinaxNOW™ Rapid Antigen COVID-19 Tests available to your district.

Now what?

As your partner in school health, we will customize a testing and complete health services program to reach your goals and help you adequately utilize your Abbott rapid COVID-19 testing kits. We’ve developed a comprehensive COVID-19 testing and SchoolMed playbook through our partnerships with ~1,000 K-12 schools across Texas as well as testing partnerships with the Big 12, AAC, universities and major employers.

We will utilize our playbook to customize a COVID-19 testing program for your district for FREE.

What We Treat In Schools

Common Illnesses

Students can be evaluated and tested for ailments such as minor colds, the flu, sore throat, cough, ear concerns, headaches, sinus or allergy issues, nosebleeds, or pink eye

Skin Irritations & Allergies

With assistance from the school nurse, skin conditions such as acne, minor infections, lice, pinworms, rashes, styes, or warts can be evaluated by our telemedicine providers online

GI Concerns

We offer care for constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, nausea, period pain and other GI issues

Onsite Testing

If a child is showing symptoms of an illness, the school nurse can consult with our doctor or provider and test the child for the flu, strep throat, or even COVID-19 right from the nurse’s office

Minor Injuries

Students can quickly connect to one of our online pediatric doctors or providers to evaluate cuts, burns, bites, and other minor injuries while onsite in the school nurse’s office

Immediate Needs or Questions

The school nurse can quickly consult with our pediatric specialized doctor or provider to have a child evaluated for an illness or injury
